3HSW I host a 3 Hour Song Writing group with my friend Chris Winters (SickTransit), which meets once a week in my living room. Each night we write, practice and record a song, using drums loops. We write the music, chords and lyrics in three hours. I usually play bass and fill in whatever other insturments or lyrics that are needed on each track. Chris Winters plays the masterful electric guitar on most the songs, sings on quite a few and writes lyrics as well—he posts some solo stuff at SickTransit on MacJams. Everything is recorded in my modest living room studio and remixed by myself or sometimes Chris. Contributors to the project have included (Chris Winters, Barbara Burgio, Mike Northcutt, Greg Ryan, Anna Huckabay, Korey Foss, Aditi Viyasgar, Nick Barrett, Meagin Donavan and Steve Craig, echoroom on Macjams.
