Samaritan

Vocals and Lyrics: Chris Winters
Music: Rich Huston and Chris Winters

Can I please lend you a hand?
It’s my job to be your friend
I specialize in charities
To equalize disparities.

I won’t ask if you’re rich or poor
Far away or right next door
All I care is that they treat you right
And you don’t disappear from sight.

No one wants to be a saint
And take the side of the innocent
Even worse if you’ve got suspect genes
And they just want to nail your ass by any means

Don’t blame me if they turn on us
Everyone’s got to ride the bus
We’ll take that X-ray field trip soon
In their eyes I’m as guilty as you.

They say we have to pay a price
Someone’s got to sacrifice
Who’s the chump who they’ll make pay
No volunteers? We’ll let’s just say
You’ll do.
